Jack Feeny

Jack Feeney was a noted producer at RCA Records of Canada, producing such acts as Wilf Carter, Family Brown, Carlton Showband and many others. For over three decades, he worked as a producer, talent scout, publisher and producer dedicated to enhancing Canadian talent.
Among his many accomplishments was the formation of Sunbury/Dunbar music, and to this day, the list of acts he signed, promoted or produced reads like a who’s who of Canadian country music talent. His achievements throughout his career, along with his outspoken nature on Canadian content regulations, has left every past, current and future Canadian musician forever indebted.

Jack Feeney was named the Canadian Country Music Associations first Executive Director in 1986, when a permanent office was established in Toronto. He was awarded the CCMA’s C.F. Martin Lifetime Achievement Honour in 1990.
